Puri Rath Yatra 2025: Check schedule of rituals, pahandi, chariot pulling



The Puri Rath Yatra 2025 is scheduled to take place on June 27 in Puri, Odisha . The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced the full schedule of rituals for the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.The rituals will begin early in the morning and continue throughout the day, culminating with the pulling of the grand chariots in the afternoon. The festival marks the annual journey of Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings, from the Jagannath Temple in Puri to the Gundicha Temple. The Rath Yatra is considered one of the most significant festivals in the Hindu calendar. The procession of the 'four deities' occurs on the second day of the waxing phase of Ashadh.
